VMware Workstation 6 Supports Windows Vista

The makers of VMWare announced that their latest product release named VMWare Workstation 6 is their first software that fully supports Windows Vista. I think that explains why my VMWare Virtual Server crashed during my installation of Windows 2003 on Windows Vista Enterprise Edition; though, it maybe due to other things not relating to product compatibility.

The price of VMWare Workstation 6 is as follows:

VMware Workstation 6 (for Windows Operating Systems)
Electronic Download Distribution
Quick Buy $ 189.00

VMware Workstation 6 ACE Option Pack Promotion (for Windows operating systems)
Free Promotion for Workstation 6 for Windows purchases
$ 0.00

VMware Workstation 6 (for Linux Systems)
Electronic Download Distribution
Quick Buy $ 189.00

I definitely agree that VMWare is the gold standard for Virtualization; nonetheless, I would stick with the free Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 or the free Virtual PC 2007 even if their feature set is inferior that of VMWare.
