Details on Satchel of Helpful Goods

Ever since the new LFG system (which Blizzard recently named the Dungeon Finder) was announced and especially ever since the details of said feature was released, it has become one of if not the most anticipated feature of the upcoming patch 3.3. It’s going to make group formation for dungeon runs easier with the cross server feature and it’s also going to give more incentive for players to run PuG’s. Of course there’s the exciting random dungeon feature that will reward players for using it. But as much as the Dungeon Finder is going to help level 80 players in patch 3.3, it should also help leveling players run the lower level dungeons.

Scarlet Monastery Cathedral

It’s become a lot harder to run lower level dungeons especially if you want to run them the real way and not just get run through by a high level player. I still see quite a bit of players announcing that they want to run Shadowfang Keep or Scarlet Monastery or any of those classic dungeons. This proves that there are people who could really use the Dungeon Finder to run these places. By getting help from other servers, this should make it even easier.

I remember Blizzard saying something about low level players getting rewards for using the Dungeon Finder to run lower level dungeons. That’s where the Satchel of Helpful Goods comes in. The Satchel is your reward for doing a random dungeon at lower levels. According to CM Wryxian, the Satchel will have two groups of items. One group contains bracers, rings, necklaces and cloaks and the other group contains belts, boots, gloves and shoulder items. The Satchel will contain one item from each group and will also depend on your level range, which is a 10 level spread. I assume that these items will be rare (blue) quality, which is something Wryxian also assumed before he came back with the info above but didn’t seem to confirm again.
