First Week In Karazhan

Instead of writing about the happenings around the game, I’d like to share a story. It’s been a very emotional week for my guild since so much has happened in our very first week of raiding Karazhan. Yes, my guild is a fairly new and casual guild and we love having fun together. The past few weeks we’ve been working our asses off to get more and more members keyed and finally we did our first run this past week.
Now some of us have been to Karazhan before, but really most of us are new comers. As for myself, I’ve only been there once when I was invited by a friend from another guild to fill a spot for their raid. I managed to kill Attumen, Moroes, and the Opera event (wizard of Oz) in that one run.
So this was our first week in Karazhan and we managed to get the Curator down already! I new something special was up for our guild when we managed to to kill Attumen, Moroes, the Opera and Maiden pretty much wipe free in just this week. We had some frustrations trying to down the Curator. We got a lot of wipes testing out strategies and I even thought that it’s quite understandable if we didn’t get him down right away, it being our first week.
I’m just so happy and full of emotion right now that I wanted to share. Do you have any similar experiences in your raids?

Thanks a lot. What makes this first week in Kara so much sweeter is that I won the guild’s first Staff of Infinite Mysteries drop from the Curator! It’s so purty!
Yes it was an exciting week even if no pally loot dropped.
Grats on that so sweet staff, almost wished I had my mage out. I am just happy we progressed so much as a guild. It will be tough to top it this week but I am sure we can do it.
