Free Respec For All Classes In Patch 3.1

If you’ve been reading this blog frequently in the past few weeks, you might have caught that I mentioned that patch 3.1 will probably looked at as one of the great patches in WoW history. From the new Ulduar raid dungeon, to dual specs, to new improvements to the default UI, and even the upcoming Argent Tournament. Now to add to the coolness of this upcoming patch, Ghostcrawler said we’ll also all get free respecs for all classes!

I actually expected this but was waiting for official announcement. The general rule of thumb is that if your class’ talents experienced vertical shifts within their respective tree, like moving from tier 3 to tier 5 or vice versa, then a talent refund is in order. I’m not sure if all classes experienced this but I know for sure that some classes’ trees were not just shifted vertically but really shuffled around and even ranks reduced here and there to make room for new ones.

It’s been a while since all classes got a free respec and Ghostcrawler mentioned that it’s probably going to be a while before they do it again so enjoy! If you’re planning to respec, if it can wait a bit longer then just wait until the patch comes out!
