Item Spotlight: Super Simian Sphere

After talking to some people over the course of a few months (most of whom are my current guildies) I’ve come to a realization that not many people know about this cute little item I picked up way back on my druid. I still remember the moment. I was doing the Knights of the Ebon Blade dailies in the Onslaught Harbor when I picked up the Super Simian Sphere. It’s quite a memorable item because it was the very first epic item my druid got at 80 and it’s also very nice just for it’s coolness factor.

Basically this trinket allows you to turn into an ape with a sort of purple/pink bubble around you for 5 minutes. This is obviously a reference to the game Super Monkey Ball. It’s merely a cosmetic thing and does absolutely nothing to enhance your character. For druids, you can even use this item while in forms. It’s one of those fun items in the game that gives it a lot of flavor! I guess it’s one of those things you shouldn’t go out on farming sessions for but if you do get it then it’s really awesome to have.
