Pirates’ Day Be Comin’

Arr! It not be the day of da Pirate just yet but there be no harm in talkin’ like one to set the mood. Pirates’ Day be tomorrow after all so it be like an early celebration! Yarr September 19 be Pirates’ Day and WoW be celebrating this great day with a special event in the game.

Pirate in Booty Bay

Ok I’m going to stop talking like a Pirate for now since it’s getting a bit weird. I’ll save that for tomorrow when I’m actually in the game. So I’m just here to tell everyone that it’s going to be Pirate Day tomorrow because this could be very easy to miss out on. It’s just a one day affair like the Noblegarden of old so if you don’t know about it or don’t have time then you miss it. I don’t know what I was doing last year but I completely didn’t know that this was even in the game, making me think that this was a new thing this year.

There will pirate costumes, cannons, fireworks, joining the Pirate crew of Dread Pirate Demeza for a day and a lot more! For those people who care about getting Achievements, there will be one associated with this one day event so if only for that at least there’s a reason to check out this event.

Also, according to World Designer Kisirani your rep with Booty Bay doesn’t matter for this event since the Pirates don’t discriminate and all are welcome! Head on to Booty Bay and have fun with Pirates’ Day!
