Sure we lose access to downranking and potting, but we gain so much more from buffs. We just have to learn how manage it better as healers. I know when I was hitting Sunwell and Black Temple I was starting to not care about the way I was using mana anymore. Its a nice and refreshing change to the game at least. I will concede that I understand your point about healer shortages. But at least guilds can address those factors now and take the appropriate action to prepare themselves during Wrath by recruiting more healers.
