Earlier this week Blizzard announced that their Faction Transfer service is finally up and running, which was slightly surprising considering it was thought that it wouldn’t be ready until at least patch 3.3. Considering that this Faction Transfer could technically allow you to change your race within the race faction by transferring to the opposite faction then transferring back and choosing a new race after the 60 day period has expired, it isn’t surprising at all that Blizzard decided to make this process easier eventually.

I think when Blizzard first designed the Fishing profession they wanted to make it feel like it was something you’d actually spend some time to do. Just like when you’re out mining for ore or gathering herbs, you usually allot some time into doing it. The way fishing is right now, it really has that feeling of ‘gone fishing’ except it’s not exactly as relaxing as really going fishing. In fact it’s quite boring!

After reading some of the things people ask for in the forums, it sort of gives you a feeling that Blizzard is giving a finger and we want the whole hand. We’ve already seen Blizzard give us so many things that as someone who’s been playing since early 2005, it makes me wonder how I survived then without a lot of the things we have now.
