The more the PTR reveals about the upcoming patch 3.3, the more it feels like the patch is really getting closer. We still don’t know exactly when it’s coming out so we’ll have to settle for the latest bit of info that just popped up. MMO Champion was able to get hold of more details about things we already know are coming out but don’t know specifics of. If you’ve seen the previews of the two Icecrown Citadel dungeons (the 5 man dungeon and the raid dungeon) that’s coming out in patch 3.3, you’ll know that players won’t be raiding that place alone. One of the things that makes the encounters sound and probably will be epic is that players will be fighting alongside known heroes. This is the very thing that made the Battle for Undercity quest very special even if it’s something that can be soloed.

The Icecrown Citadel has always been a curious place for me and probably also for a lot of other people. Being the Lich King’s lair, I always tend to wonder not only what Blizzard has in store for us in terms of fight designs but also who and what we might find inside.
