Ever since the new LFG system (which Blizzard recently named the Dungeon Finder) was announced and especially ever since the details of said feature was released, it has become one of if not the most anticipated feature of the upcoming patch 3.3. It’s going to make group formation for dungeon runs easier with the cross server feature and it’s also going to give more incentive for players to run PuG’s. Of course there’s the exciting random dungeon feature that will reward players for using it. But as much as the Dungeon Finder is going to help level 80 players in …read more

When Blizzard officially announced the new Dungeon System coming out in patch 3.3 that will include a new LFG tool that will allow us to do cross server dungeons, they mentioned that the NPC’s who currently give us the normal and heroic dungeon daily quests will instead give out weekly raid quests. So dungeon daily quests that we currently have will be gone when the patch comes out. But as you know this will be replaced by the random dungeon feature in the LFG tool.
Before you get the wrong idea, I have to admit that the random dungeon system in …read more

We’ve been talking quite a bit about the new LFG system that will be in place when patch 3.3 comes out. Basically it’s a new tool that will allow players a few more features other than simply finding other people to run dungeons with. You’ll be able to do dungeons with other players from different servers in your battlegroup. You’ll also be able to do random dungeons for both normal and heroic difficulty and get rewarded for it. The more random the make up of your group is, the better your reward.
I can see more reason for players to do …read more
New LFG System and Stone Keeper’s Shards

Personally I don’t really care for Stone Keeper’s Shards since they’re used to get PvP oriented stuff from the vendor in Wintergrasp and I don’t really like PvP much. I don’t even do Wintergrasp and the only reason why I go there is to do Vault of Archavon with my guild. The bosses there drop Emblems which I can use for PvE gear so I at least do that. Of course there’s the Black War Mammoth mount but it’s something I’m not actively pursuing and it’s definitely not worth it for me to do the Wintergrasp to help control it …read more

We’ve seen some details on the upcoming new Dungeon System coming out in patch 3.3 from small announcements from them or from things we’ve seen from the PTR. Blizzard officially announced the new dungeon system earlier, which highlights the cross server LFG interface and a few more features we’ve heard of before and some that we haven’t yet.
So as you already know, we’ll be able to group with others players from other servers in your battlegroup to do dungeons using the the new dungeon system. Like Battlegrounds, you’ll be able to join solo or as a group making the a …read more

I believe it was during this year’s Blizzcon that Blizzard announced that they were working on a new LFG system that would allow players to form groups for dungeons across different servers. They said they planned on having it out by patch 3.3 and it looks like they made it.
Since this feature is currently on the patch 3.3 PTR, we have a bit more word about it since it was announced a few months ago. You can see WoW.com’s screenshot gallery on this new LFG interface here. The system will allow us to indicate what role we would like to …read more
GC “Clarifies” Cross Realm LFG Rewards

A few days ago at Blizzcon ‘09, Blizzard announced a new feature possibly coming out in patch 3.3 that will allow players to do 5 man dungeons with players from other servers. This will be done using the Cross Realm LFG system that will make use of the same Battlegroup system that is being used for Cross Realm Battlegrounds.
There was a piece of additional info about special rewards for the group leader that didn’t seem right. If this was true then everyone would want to be the group leader and could cause some fighting and drama. Doing a dungeon with …read more
