Leveling an alt that is supported by your main character(s) already had its advantage before since it could get gold, mats and other things easier than if you had no support at all. Bind on account items or Heirlooms as they are often called made this support even better.

Paid Character Transfer Cooldown Reduced

You could tell the game has really come a long way when you’re getting revisions to a service that allows you to do something that couldn’t be done back in the day. Back in the day there was no such thing as a paid character transfer or a name change or character customization. Now we have all those and we’ll even have the faction switching service sometime in the future.

Things to do during Server Maintenance

As I’m writing this a lot of the World of Warcraft servers are undergoing a very extended maintenance that’s going to last for 12 hours. We’ve had a lot of scheduled maintenance before that would be longer than usual but as far as I know, this is the first time we’re having a scheduled one for this long. Since it really is maintenance day today, the other servers are going offline eventually but for the unfortunate, this is a major bummer.
