WTF?!

“WTF?!”
That was the first thing I typed in raid chat when I first found myself where I was in the image above. I was in Grom’gol Base Camp about to take flight to Stonard as I was making my way to my guild’s Karazhan raid. As I was about to click the flight path to Stonard, I lagged for a few seconds and then got disconnected. When I came back, I found myself swimming in a body of water with guards roaming around as seen in the image above. I checked the map to sea where I was and it showed the Silithus map but obviously I was nowhere near there.
Things got stranger. I asked my guild to summon me out of there. I accepted the summon and saw myself still in the same body of water but this time I saw my guildies floating in the same body of water I was in and I saw the Violet Eye npc’s floating on top like where the guards in the image above are. I had to hearth out of there and get another summon!
Strange indeed and I’m pretty sure if this happened to you you’d probably say “WTF?!” too.
Haha nice. I am not sure if you were there or nor but our entire 40 man molten core raid got teleported over Dalaran in the sky into a big pile of corpses. That was the first thing I thought of after seeing your picture.
At least you could hearth out. On one unlucky day I got stuck being dead with no release and no unstuck three times. Logging in and back out didn’t do anything either. Only thing to do was coherse healers into wandering over to where my body was sitting all three times.
@Scott: yeah I was there. I remember not all of us were at Dalaran. Some of us ended flying over the Stonetalon Mountains. That was the time the instance server crashed so we ended up calling the raid that day. Fun times!
