It might look like yet another zombie apocalypse game, but Cataclysm is very different. First of all, Cataclysm features an ASCII tileset, which means that everything in the game, from zombies to trees to handguns, is represented by text symbols. And there are a lot of symbols, because Cataclysm is an absolutely massive game with plenty of things to see.
You make a survivor, load him or her up with good and bad traits, set their skills, and then plunge headfirst into a harsh and unforgiving world. Between managing hunger and thirst, your health, and your mental state, there are plenty of variables to keep track of in the quest to survive and maybe even thrive.
