A Ohio mother, Lacie Sexton, overdosed on heroin and passed out behind the steering wheel of her parked car in a gas station on Monday. She was discovered by police and revived by paramedics. Her four children (who are all under 10 years old) were inside the vehicle with her at the time.

First responders revived the 26-year-old Sexton by administering Narcan to reverse the effects of heroin. After treatment, Sexton was booked into the Hamilton County Jail on charges of child endangerment and operating a vehicle while impaired.

Sexton has two sons and two daughters. According to her Facebook profile, she lives in Cincinnati and is employed as a State Tested Nursing Aide. It’s not clear if the children were taken into temporary state custody after the incident, or if they are staying with a relative.
