Lauren Southern of TheRebel.Media decided to challenge the feminist narrative by attending SlutWalk and holding up a sign that said, “There Is No Rape Culture In the West.”

Southern’s point was that, in Canada (and the rest of western society), rapists are prosecuted and rape is hated… as opposed to in some African countries, some Islamic nations and other places around the world where there is a true rape culture.

As you might expect, the social justice warriors and leftist feminists weren’t too pleased with Southern’s sign, her interviews or her presence at the event. Her camera man was abused, and Southern was called a bitch and other names by the women.

If you aren’t familiar with the SlutWalk movement, it’s a series of rallies where women dress as “sluts” in revealing clothing to call for an end to “rape culture” and victim blaming. The protests, which have taken place in Toronto and other cities since 2011 began in response to police officer suggesting that women shouldn’t “dress as sluts” as a precaution against sexual violence.
