A brazen gunman shot and killed a reporter and cameraman on live television at Bridgewater Plaza in Moneta, Virginia Wednesday morning. The shooter, Bryce Williams AKA Vester Flanagan, killed 24-year-old WDBJ-TV reporter Alison Parker and 27-year-old cameraman Adam Ward as Parker was interviewing a woman named, Vicki Gardner. Gardner, who is executive director of the Smith Mountain Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce, was also shot. She was taken to a local hospital and was in surgery earlier today.

The killer was identified as Vester Flanagan. Flanagan worked at WDBJ as a reporter for about a year using the on-air name, Bryce Williams. Flanagan AKA Williams uploaded video footage of the shooting to his social media accounts. You can watch the video below. Viewer discretion is advised.
ABC News reported that it has received a fax containing a 23-page manifesto from someone named Bryce Williams between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. The document has been handed over to investigators.
After the shooting, there was a manhunt for the murderer. Law enforcement confronted Vester Flanagan on Interstate 66 and Flanagan shot himself. Reports are that he is currently in very critical condition.
