Cortland Finnegan Out for Titans

Cortland Finnegan, a starting cornerback for the Tennessee Titans, will miss Week 6 against the New England Patriots due to an injured hamstring. This is a big blow for the Titans, especially considering that Nick Harper (the team’s other starting cornerback) will also miss the game. Harper is out with a broken arm.
The Titans injury woes don’t end there. Vincent Fuller, a defensive back, is questionable due to an arm injury. Due to all the injuries, rookie Jason McCourty will have to start. The other starting cornerback won’t be known until kickoff.
As for the Patriots, they will undoubtedly look to pass early and often. Tom Brady has been good but not great so far in the 2009 NFL season — although that will likely change. Brady is in line for a huge outing in Week 6.
Right now, the Titans don’t have a win. After Week 6 comes and goes, expect that fact to remain the same.
