“Family Feud: 2010 Edition”

Family Feud: 2010 Edition will be released today for the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and PlayStation 2 and I think I will be picking up a copy.  I always find these types of games great for when I’ve got guests and we want to play something but they either aren’t heavy gamers and/or don’t want to pull out an actual board game.

Besides, who doesn’t love Family Feud?  By the way, if you are into this sort of thing, you might be interested in buying The Price is Right 2010 which is also coming out today.

The game includes more than 1,000 surveys which is great because my big complaint with these types of games is that the questions start to get repetitive too quickly.  Hopefully, there is something in the game that prevents the same questions from being asked until they’ve all been done.

To make the game more interesting, the following features have been included:

  • Wacky Paint – Splatter colorful paint onto your opponent’s screen to obscure the view.
  • Thunder Clap – Cast thunder onto your opponent and make the screen shake.
  • Frosty – Freeze the search window by encasing it in ice.
  • Sparkly – Keep your eyes on the twinkle and glitter effects to detect items.

I’m not sure I would actually use any of that stuff since I pretty much just enjoy answering questions but, then again, I’m the same person who thinks using the items in Mario Kart is cheating (I like to win on my driving skills alone).
