On Saturday, Kim Ng reportedly interviewed for the San Diego Padres’ general manager position and now has another chance to be the first female GM in major league baseball history. Ng is currently the Los Angeles Dodgers’ assistant general manager and one of just two women executives in MLB to hold that position. This is the third time that Ng has interviewed for a GM spot.

According to the Associated Press, sources say that Ng interviewed with Padres CEO and vice chairman Jeff Moorad on Saturday. However neither Ng nor Moorad would comment.
